by Sophia | 4 Aug 2020 | 1 mins read

This one goes out to all you first-time jobseekers and fresh grads. In episode 7 of Keep It Simple, our hosts bring up the five most commonly asked interview questions and go into detail about how to answer them, including the do’s and don’t’s.

If you’ve not had prior practice with job interviews and you’re feeling nervous about your very first time, then you’ll want to listen in to this conversation (not to mention our terrible roleplay scenarios). Here’s a quick roundup of the questions that were asked!

The Most Common Interview Questions You’ll Face

  • “Tell me about one of your weaknesses.”
  • “Why did you leave your previous company?”
  • “Why do you want to join this company?”
  • “Where do you see yourself in five years’ time?”
  • “What’s your last drawn salary?

While there’s no right or wrong answer, there are things that probably should be avoided when tackling these common questions. (And while common, their purpose is to reveal crucial information about you to your future employers, so knowing what they want out of these questions is important.)
